Our Story
Care you can count on, on your schedule
No one wants to find themselves in need of an urgent care center. But when you do, you need the peace of mind that you’ll be getting the treatment, the knowledge, and the friendly service that you and your family deserve.
Whether you enter our doors feeling ill, injured, or uncertain, you’ll leave feeling comfortable and at-ease. A good experience at a health facility can make all the difference in getting you back to your regular daily life, both physically and mentally. Our extended hours makes it easy to fit your schedule.
In our many years of experience leading up to the opening of Total Health Urgent Care, one thing we’ve heard time and time again from patients is the frustration with the typical ‘doctor’s office hours’. Being able to see us on short notice on any day of the week, either before school or after work, is a service that was extremely important for us to be able to provide for this community.
You can’t always pause your work or school life when you or a family member becomes ill or injured, you no longer have to wait until the following week or the ‘next available appointment date’ to get the care you need.

About the Owner
Meet Jennifer Duncan, APRN, MSN, FNP-C
With over 25 years experience in emergency and urgent care medicine, my dream to create Total Health Urgent Care came from seeing all the things that could be done better in the field of immediate-care. Having the experience with, and getting feedback from, our community over the years has shown me the exact kind of service that our local families are looking for: Total Health Urgent Care was born from that experience.
I have been an educator, as well as worked in hospital and ER administration, and it is an honor and a privilege to serve the St. Tammany Parish community in this new endeavor. No one can predict when illness, accident or injury will happen, but having extended hours and many services can help get patient’s back to their every day lives.

Our office is also conveniently located close to the communities of Folsom and Franklinton. We serve Covington, Folsom, Franklinton, Abita Springs, Madisonville, Mandeville, St Benedict, and more.
